If you like frog stories, this book's for you!

This is my new favorite frog storybook, A Frog in the Bog. I read it to my kinders and one little blonde girl giggled uncontrollably everytime I read the word, "bog". Go figure........ I then had them draw along with me and had some really cute results. That's my example on the whiteboard using my new Dry Erase Crayons. Anyone tried them yet? Kinda fun but limited colors.

There's a frog on a log in a bog...a half sunk log in the middle of a bog.... :) LOVE THIS BOOK! :) And the dry erase crayons are cool but pricey!

I got a sample of the dry-erase crayons, and I found they didn't erase well at all, so I threw them out.

My favorite frog book is a little obscure, but terrific: "The Hour of the Frog" - every night at midnight the frog come out of his slimy hole in the wall to make himself snacks in the kitchen. My son LOVED this story with it's little surprise twist ending. If you like frog books, look for this one!

Phyl,
Thanks for the book recommendation. I love frog stories. I had to use the dry erase liquid board spray to remove the dry erase crayons. It worked great! Give it another try cuz it's so much easier to color with than the markers that just erase themselves when you try to color something in on the board.

Love making art that goes with books. And isn't it just great what kids laugh at? I never know what to expect from them.
